Location: Between Hanover, MD and the Francis Scott Key Bridge Summary: AMG is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior CPM Scheduler to support scheduling efforts for the Francis Scott Key Bridge rebuild project. This is a senior-level, full-time position tailored for an independent thinker who can work autonomously with minimal oversight. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of complex bridge construction projects, coupled with strong scheduling acumen using Oracle Primavera (P6). This is not an entry-level role, but one designed for a seasoned professional who brings 10+ years of direct experience in large-scale construction scheduling. Candidates should be adept at managing schedules for projects exceeding $100 million and must possess the capability to build, analyze, and adjust detailed project schedules in alignment with contract requirements and construction workflows. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field. This requirement may be waived with 10+ years of direct, construction related industry experience. Certifications: PSP certification preferred (AACEI) PMI-SP certification preferred (PMI) Qualifications: Expert-level proficiency in Oracle Primavera (P6). The candidate must be highly experienced in developing and managing complex schedules. 10+ years of direct construction scheduling experience: Experience with large-scale projects, particularly those valued over $50M, in sectors like transportation, transit, and facility construction. Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications. Ability to interpret A/E designs to build construction schedules. Ability to build a construction schedule using means and methods input from the construction contractor. Ability to create CPM logic-based schedules during design phases to support A/E teams. Must be able to create monthly schedule Narratives. Construction management experience is a plus. Cost estimating skills are a plus. Must have experience with MS Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Functional use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Responsibilities: Serve as the scheduling expert for all things dealing with schedules. Maintain a level 5 schedule, including logic changes, re-sequencing, and updating of man-hours. Provide monthly schedule updates and two-week look ahead. Provide monthly schedule Narratives. Work with the Superintendent, Subcontractors, and other key personnel on site to obtain physical quantities for earned value analysis and cost/invoicing as needed. Develop full CPM logic generated baseline schedules for projects. Resource and cost load baseline schedule. Perform regular progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules. Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level. Perform schedule analysis. Prepare Time Impact Analysis and/or recovery schedule. Provide support and training in the use of project and scheduling software to office and job site staff when necessary. Participate in meetings with project teams, clients, owners, and various stakeholders related to the project controls and schedule of a particular project. Review construction documents, design, and specifications to accurately develop baseline schedules which include all required activities, dates, and milestones. Interface with the client's on-site scheduler and cost analyst as needed. Perform logic changes and/or re-sequencing of the baseline schedule to accommodate all scopes of work. Conduct earned value analysis. Conduct cost control. Create WBS. Create Activity IDs. Prepare summary and detail level schedules. Perform Digger baseline and update analysis.
