Where you can make an impact: Finance Our Finance team plays an essential role in maintaining a healthy balance sheet at AIG. It delivers significant finance support for the overall enterprise, optimizing operations, controllership, funding, and capital structure to honor our stakeholder commitments. The team’s work is invaluable to informing leadership decision making, complying with regulatory requirements, and maintaining financial discipline, transparency, and controls, while providing timely and meaningful information. How you will create an impact: Analysis of P&L; by business segments and profit and loss items including production, losses, acquisition expense, and operating expenses. Conduct expense analysis and develop insightful commentary on a monthly basis for effective expense management. Support the financial processes of actuals analysis, rolling forecasts, and multiyear budget planning, while ensuring the accuracy of financial information. Coordination with the various groups including sales, underwriting, operations, and other finance community such as controllership and reserving actuaries to be able to comply with management request and monthly (and quarterly) processes. Deliver ad hoc financial analysis as required to support management decision making. Leads Operational Payment procedures. Including ensuring the compliance with regulatory payments and aligned with corporate expectations. Provide support as backup when required for Claims Payment procedures. Provide customer services as much as needed regarding accounts payable tasks such as payment status to vendors and others, invoice receipt, request modifications for vendor’s information, and others. Provide guidance on complex AP procedures or issues presented. Adjust any claim requisition with a miscellany accounting difference that creates an error un system. Perform application, printing, and upload of Operational payments for entities managed in PR (AIGPR and AIGLAII) and enter in correspondent bank platform. Any additional related tasks/projects, as requested. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related area of study. This position suits candidates with experience in the outlined responsibilities. Background in financial statement analysis with emphasis on expense management. Experience in forecasting and modeling and knowledge of business performance metrics preferred. Intermediated Excel skills. Flexibility to work additional hours during peak times.
