WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE? We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to join our team. The key responsibilities include: Managing the maintenance of the quality management system, ensuring procedures and instructions are correctly executed to meet company standards. Creating and monitoring Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for projects, communicating with clients regarding ITP follow-up, and assessing supplier documents. Handling external and internal non-conformities, analyzing quality issues, and implementing corrective actions. Representing the company in meetings and client negotiations concerning quality issues, with support from the Head of Quality. Accepting new suppliers proposed by purchasing and monitoring existing supplier performance. Conducting quality controls on processes and products, including rotors, packages, elements, seals, spare parts, and structures. Managing the enamelling process, evaluating customer specifications, and performing laboratory tests. Making decisions to halt manufacturing if procedures are breached or product quality is compromised, and communicating these decisions. Collaborating in continuous improvement initiatives, including participating in Kaizen processes and monitoring PDM. Working with commercial and engineering teams on customer specifications and manufacturing feasibility. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING? Essential Skills and Knowledge: Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. High proficiency in English. Proficient in Office tools (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Postgraduate training in ISO 9001-2015 and management systems; master's in quality management preferred. Desirable Skills and Experience: Advanced engineering knowledge. 1-3 years of professional experience in quality management. Knowledge of environmental management, occupational health, and safety. Analytical and decision-making skills. Teamwork, thoroughness, adherence to procedures, and ability to work under pressure. Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications, and handle complex client interactions. WORK ENVIRONMENT & BENEFITS Residence in Cartagena (Murcia) required. Travel approximately 5%.
