Ensure 24/7 availability of SAP systems within the SAP ECS environment, responding promptly to alerts and incidents at the Linux OS and infrastructure layers across hyperscaler and SAP data centers. Act as the L3/L4 escalation contact for critical production issues, strictly adhering to change management protocols. Optimize operational procedures using automation techniques and implement solutions to improve efficiency, reliability, and platform performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives for SAP cloud services with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. Collaborate with a diverse, global team to deliver enterprise-grade cloud services tailored to SAP applications. Design and implement strategies to enhance customer experience and ensure compliance with SLAs. Requirements: - 8–12 years of experience administering Linux systems (RedHat/SUSE) at an advanced level, with strong troubleshooting skills for complex environments. - Proficiency in networking, including TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, and firewalls. - Expertise in managing network services such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP proxies. - Hands-on experience in hyperscaler environments, including management of compute and storage resources. - Administration of cloud networking infrastructure: VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, NSGs, and NAT gateways. - Container and Kubernetes cluster management. - Experience using monitoring tools such as Nagios, Prometheus, and ServiceNow. - Solid knowledge of IT security best practices, especially OS hardening. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Linux Shell, Perl, Python, Go. - Experience with automation tools, particularly Ansible.
