Apply for Job Job ID: 52057 Location: Columbia Full/Part Time: Full-Time Hiring Department Roy Blunt NextGen Precision Health Center Job Description This postdoctoral fellow position will work in Dr. Bo Lu's laboratory, located in the NextGen Precision Health building on the University of Missouri campus. This position will conduct NIH-funded projects studying the mechanisms by which immunotherapy combined with radiation induce myocarditis, focusing on the roles of Th17 cells and B cells in the pathogenesis of myocarditis, and developing novel interventions to mitigate immunotherapy and radiation-induced side effects. The candidate will perform cell culture, flow cytometry, adoptive cell transfer, ELISA, and related immunological techniques in vitro and in vivo mouse models of myocarditis. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, presenting findings at conferences, preparing manuscripts and fellowship applications, and training new lab members. Qualifications The qualified candidate must have a recent PhD in immunology, cell biology, or a related field by the start of employment.
