TheImpact of a Travel Manager at Coupa: The Travel Manager will be theleading Coupa’s global travel & events programs by developingstrategies, policies and manage suppliers alongside the Procurementteam. This is a dedicated full-time position to support Coupa’sgrowing travel demand. The goal is to ensure employee travel issafe, supports our business and is organized according to companypolicy while maximizing the value. This position will report intoour Finance department. What You'll Do: - Manage and own the globaltravel policy which includes making ongoing updates as necessaryand improvements as appropriate. - Manage TMC for internal Coupaemployees. - Support travel and hotel sourcing for events andconferences working closely with the Marketing Events team. -Analyze travel data such as frequent travelers, out of policytravelers, etc. to understand what trends are and how to bestsupport employees. - Partner with the end-users to guide preferredsupplier usage and ensure traveler compliance. - Work withpreferred airlines and hotels to assign status memberships forfrequent travelers. - Support day-to-day travel including approvingand rejecting out of policy travel, creating TMC accounts,assisting travelers who need support with bookings, etc. - Managetravel related programs such as duty of care and corporate cards. -Drive continuous improvement of travel programs and implement bestpractices. - Communicate travel guidelines and changes to travelprogram. - Manage travel page on company intranet site. What YouWill Bring to Coupa: - 3+ years’ experience in a corporate TravelManager role with expertise in managing a global travel program fora company of similar size and structure as Coupa. Projectmanagement and travel program knowledge with the ability to workindependently but also collaborate with peers. - Bachelor’s Degreeor similar. - 3+ years’ experience in a travel manager role, Provenexperience as corporate travel manager. - Travel industry knowledgeand experience, including use of TMC / booking tools. - Workingknowledge of MS Office, OTBs and GDS solutions. - Excellentcommunication (oral and written) and negotiation skills. - Abilityto collaborate with all types of people and build relationshipsthroughout the company. - Ability to work cross functionally withother departments and teams to create a best-in-class travelprogram. - Ability to work proactively, independently and reliablyunder tight time-frames in a fast-paced environment. - Strongproblem-solving skills and dedication ensuring success foremployees. - Tech savvy – ability to learn how to use new CoupaTravel booking tool and other platforms. - A ‘can do’ attitude towork that needs to get done as part of a high-growth company. -Driven individual with a high degree of personal organization and astrong passion to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. -Fluent in English (minimum C level) and Spanish, Portuguese a plus.
