To accelerate our growth, we are seeking a talented Cash Application Specialist to enhance our features and services. What you'll be doing: - Prepare, review, and issue accurate client invoices monthly, aligned with RemoFirst's billing cycles. - Ensure timely billing for all services, including Employer of Record (EOR) and global payroll. - Verify invoice accuracy by cross-referencing payroll data, client agreements, and employee contracts. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Customer Success, Hiring, Offboarding, Support, and Sales—to ensure all billable items are correctly captured. - Coordinate with the Product team on invoicing system enhancements or fixes. - Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues promptly, considering tactical and strategic initiatives. - Respond professionally to client inquiries regarding invoices. - Support finance cleanup initiatives, including account reconciliation. - Identify recurring issues or discrepancies and suggest process improvements. - Seek opportunities to streamline invoicing and reduce errors. - Complete ad hoc tasks such as reporting and supporting audits. - Perform additional duties aligned with Finance Operations and as directed by the Senior Finance Operations Manager. Note: Job responsibilities may evolve based on Finance Management discretion. What you'll need: - 2-year accounting degree or equivalent experience preferred. - At least 3 years of experience in Finance, Payroll, or Accounting roles. - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. - Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. - Proficiency in data analysis, research, and discrepancy resolution. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt priorities. - Proactive problem-solving skills. - Comfortable working independently and within a team. - High numeracy, attention to detail, and accuracy. - Experience handling high volumes of customer invoices.
