Job Description The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the medical sciences, clinical development, and medical program designing, including experience in designing, executing, and reporting of clinical trials. Main Responsibilities: - Lead the Medical Affairs team in Colombia and the South Cone region, overseeing all aspects of medical affairs in the region. - Develop and execute a comprehensive medical strategy that aligns with the company's corporate goals and objectives. - Provide leadership for the Medical Affairs Function regionally and globally through membership of the regional MA leadership team, contributing to the creation and execution of the MA organizational goals. Requirements: - A qualified medical professional with at least 10 years' experience in the Pharma industry in different MA roles, preferably including Affiliate Medical Affairs Head. - Fluent in English, spoken and written. - Strong understanding and ability to comply with industry laws and regulations. - Strong expertise in the medical sciences, clinical development, medical program designing, including experience in designing, executing, and reporting of clinical trials. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in managing large Medical Affairs budgets with demonstrated ability to apply pro-active risk management on budget and timelines. - Proven leadership capability in aligning medical strategies with corporate goals and providing critical business shaping insights. - Strong understanding of Market Access issues and HTA environment in the countries supported. - Experience in managing large multicultural teams.
