We are seeking a seasoned data analyst to support our projects across the finance and accounting domain. This role is ideal for someone who blends strong data analysis skills with accounting knowledge and thrives in a client-facing, fast-paced environment. This is a remote position based in LATAM, working primarily with a U.S. team. Key Responsibilities - Build accounting data models and schemas that support revenue recognition and subledger automation. - Implement data models and schemas to support business requirements and ensure data consistency and integrity. - Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction, transformation, loading, and reporting. - Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data needs and provide data engineering support for analytics initiatives. - Ensure data quality and implement data validation and cleansing techniques. - Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and availability. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. - MUST have knowledge of SQL and experience writing complex queries. - MUST have experience in development: Data modeling and analysis based on business requirements. - MUST have experience in the Financial Accounting and Reporting domain and/or regulated industries. - Strong customer-facing presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills are required. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling is a plus. - Excellent communication with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. - Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
