As a Project Engineer, you will be pivotal insuccessfully executing civil engineering projects in thetransportation sector. Your responsibilities will span the entireproject lifecycle, from conceptualization to construction phasesupport. This role requires a seasoned professional capable ofindependently managing projects, leading a team of engineers, andfostering client relationships. - Lead the development of initialproject design concepts and create comprehensive project plans,including staffing requirements and project schedules. - Executeproject designs efficiently, managing resources within budgetaryand scheduling constraints. - Oversee bid and construction phaseengineering service support. - Serve as a project engineer,independently coordinating the efforts of engineers,designers/draft persons, and sub-consultants throughout projectexecution. - Establish and nurture client relationships, activelyparticipating in client meetings. - Contribute to marketingefforts, contractual development, and design implementation. -Manage the financial aspects of assigned engineering projects,adjusting work efforts to ensure projects are completed on scheduleand within budget. - Simultaneously manage multiple projects andclients, demonstrating strong organizational skills. - Utilizecomputer-assisted engineering and design software, including butnot limited to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools, toprepare high-quality engineering and design documents. - Assumeresponsibility for project team quality system tasks as defined inQuality Assurance/Quality Control guidelines. - Conduct regularsite visits to monitor construction progress and fulfill otherduties outlined in contract documents. Qualifications - Bachelor'sor Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-yearcollege or university. - 7+ years of experience in the field or arelated area. - Professional Engineer license (PE) required. -Proven expertise in managing transportation engineering projectsfrom conception to completion. - Strong leadership skills with theability to independently coordinate and lead a project team. -Excellent client management and communication skills, demonstratedthrough successful client interactions. - Proficiency incomputer-assisted engineering and design software, includingAutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant tools.
