The GEA Liquid & Powder Technologies Division (LPT) is looking for a Service Sales Area Manager - Global Service Filling & Packaging. The Service Sales Area manager serves customers by selling Service products and meeting customer needs, in the geographical Area of responsibility. Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. He/she maintains the customer relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction and budget achievement. We are looking for self-motivating people, target oriented, with engaging character and negotiation skills. Beverage filling business knowledge and technical background are preferred. Roles The candidate will report to the Head of Service Sales Filling & Packaging and is part of the team Global Service Support Filling & Packaging Sell to existing and potential direct accounts as well as provide sales support to local branches/distribution partners in the Area of responsibility Answer and respond to customer inquiries, needs and requirements Resolve and troubleshoot complex sales and services issues of customers Direct and oversee sales policies, objectives and initiatives of the organization in the Area of responsibility. Set short- and long-term sales strategies in the Area and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The successful candidate will understand what motivates customers to buy and know how to tap into those needs and desires in an effective way Responsibilities: Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the Area of responsibility; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products Determine annual sales plans in cooperation with Head of Service Sales by implementing the best marketing strategies, analyzing trends and results Coordinate and support local branches to define best route to market and implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans Responsible for the implementation of sales supporting tools and concepts developed for service in his/her areas of responsibility Contribute on service portfolio development of Global Service Support Filling & Packaging Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies Manage, develop, coach and motivate the local branches sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved Provide on-the-ground support to local branches sales force as they generate leads and close new deals Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company's relationship with them Continually develop knowledge of the business climate, applications and competition for his/her defined geography and accounts Continually assess current business distribution channels, develop and evaluate their performance and manage conflict ensuring alignment with territory plans Fluent in Spanish, French or Arabic (it would be much appreciated) High motivation Planning Build Relationships Market Knowledge Target orientation Mechanical/Technical background Knowledge in aseptic filling/process (preferred) Did we spark your interest?
