Technical Project Manager - Application Decomposition About the job: We are seeking a Technical Project Manager - Application Decomposition . No hands-on developer experience is required; however, a general understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), code repositories, CI/CD tools, etc., is necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a Technical PM managing projects , preferably 5 years. Requirements include: Understanding of Software Development, git repositories, CI/CD, AWS Cloud (e.g., Cloud Practitioner or Associate certification) Experience with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban methodologies Proficiency in English communication Ability to handle ambiguity and resolve conflicts to facilitate decision-making and keep the program on track High standards for reporting, with weekly or bi-weekly updates Risk and issue management with effective escalation procedures The TPM will lead an application decomposition workstream within a broader modernization program. Initially, the role involves managing foundational initiatives to facilitate the transition from monolithic to microservice architecture using a 'Strangler Pattern'. These initiatives include service-to-service authentication, application templates, edge user authentication, shared libraries, platforms, and feature flag capabilities. Once these foundations are operational, the TPM will oversee the decomposition of backend services into microservices following the established pattern and maturity levels.
