Www.Medmix.Swiss Job Description Job purpose The Head of Quality for Industry Business Unit (BU) is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality control and assurance to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations. They are responsible for ensuring that all Industry manufacturing sites and design control centers are compliant with relevant ISO standards and are able to interact with the appropriate regulatory bodies. They ensure customer complaints are handled in a compliant and timely manner with robust root cause investigation and corrective action. This role requires strong customer focus, leadership skills, a deep understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Quality Management Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain an effective quality management system (QMS) that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Establish processes and procedures for complaint handling, quality control, document control, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement. The scope includes oversight of quality responsibilities across Industry manufacturing processes in our sites in Valencia, Shanghai, Hungerford, Haag, and Atlanta. Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure products and services meet quality standards. Establish inspection and testing protocols, monitor product quality throughout production or service delivery, and address non-conformities. Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to establish and maintain strong supplier quality management processes. Conduct supplier audits, evaluate supplier performance, and implement measures to ensure suppliers meet quality standards. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance strategies to prevent defects and ensure compliance with customer requirements. Define quality metrics and KPIs, conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement. Lead initiatives to enhance quality processes, optimize efficiency, and reduce waste using methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels to identify improvement areas. Collaborate with teams to address complaints, implement corrective actions, and meet customer requirements. Change Control: Ensure robust and efficient change control processes within the industry business. Training and Development: Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness and support employee development. Compliance: Keep updated with industry standards, regulations, and certifications. Ensure organizational compliance, coordinate audits, address findings, and implement necessary actions. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and guide the quality team, foster collaboration, set performance goals, evaluate performance, and mentor team members for growth.
