We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist with HR experience to join our growing team. Job Summary: As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees in Colombia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Colombian labor laws, experience in processing payroll, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Ensure the accurate and timely calculation and processing of fixed, variable, ordinary, and integral salaries for all employees in Colombia. Affiliations Management: Manage and oversee employee affiliations with social security, health, pensions, and other benefits in compliance with Colombian regulations. Compliance: Maintain a thorough understanding of Colombian labor legislation, ensuring all payroll activities comply with legal requirements. Payroll Verification: Verify payroll data, including deductions, overtime, bonuses, and other variables, to ensure payroll accuracy. Reporting & Data Management: Use intermediate Excel skills to organize and manage payroll-related data, create reports, and provide insights when necessary. Attention to Detail: Review payroll and employee data to spot and correct errors, ensuring 100% accuracy in all payroll processes. Customer Service: Provide excellent internal customer service by addressing payroll-related inquiries and issues promptly. Autonomy: Work independently and proactively to resolve issues, find solutions, and ensure smooth payroll operations. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, specifically within Colombia, with experience managing fixed, variable, ordinary, and integral salaries. Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and experience in employee affiliations with social security, health, and pension systems. Intermediate proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manage data and generate reports. Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
