GivePower’s primary programs include solar electrification for medical, educational and economic needs in developing regions; deploying scalable solar-powered desalination solutions for clean water access in remote communities, promoting global female empowerment, and sponsoring “voluntourism” treks for donors and partners that want to experience the impact firsthand.YOUR ROLEAs the Senior Project Engineer of SIPs, you will be instrumental in helping GivePower accomplish ambitious goals by spearheading efforts in GivePower’s project specific engineering and design aspects including value engineering and operational optimization. You will have the opportunity to work on socially impactful and mission critical projects deployed around the globe. Your role will be responsible for ensuring the best possible site design methods and principles are being implemented. A key emphasis will be providing leadership with on-time and high-quality engineering deliverables. Salary range for this role is 10,500,000-11,500,000 COP/Month, based upon expertise and experience.ResponsibilitiesProvide guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment across Solar Impact Projects and Treks.Establish and maintain robust engineering processes, standards, and methodologies, ensuring adherence to industry standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, deployment managers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive successful project/product cycles.Oversee the design and execution of projects/products to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
