Also you'll set up the overall quality strategy for the SmatHop products, including manual or automated tests. You will supervise a team of QA engineers assigned to the project that you'll manage. You will work directly with engineers, operations, and the product manager to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. You will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible and hire new talent to fulfill client needs. **Location** Latin America (Fully Remote) Education Bachelor’s degree or master’s, preferred, in related technical discipline. Any QA certification (Example: ISTQB certification). Experience **Requirements**: Knowledge and experience in: Functional/Non - functional test executions (API and UI testing techniques). Systems development life cycle (SDLC). Test creation techniques. Metrics and reporting dashboards. Requirements analysis. **Qualifications**: - 6+ years of experience as a Project Leader within a technology organization. - 6+ years of relevant QA technical experience for consumer-facing products. - 3+ years of experience in back-end testing. - 2+ years of experience in mobile device testing on iOS and Android. - Any QA certification (Example: ISTQB certification). **Technical Requirements**: - Jira. - MongoDB. - Android Studio. - Scrum methodology. - English (C1+). - Plus: Postman, Cypres, or related automation tools, SQL, Zephyr, BlazeMeter, Jmeter, JavaScript or Python. **Key Responsibilities**: - Plan, time, monitor and inform on activities and resources. - Analyze and manage project risk. - Address team dynamics for effective environment. - Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders. - Review the product requirement documents and design specifications. - Lead the development of the test plans (manual or automated). - Review and re-evaluate the test strategy. - Coordinate bug fixes with development teams. - Oversee implementation and execution of functional and regression tests. - Oversee the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation. - Lead and mentor test engineers. **Benefits** At SmartHop we know our people are our number one asset, therefore we put a premium on hiring and retaining the best talent.
