People Operations & Payroll SAP Project Manager Beyond ONE Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia Role Purpose Why this role matters: As part of the People Operations team, this role is critical to administering and managing payroll processes and the compensation and benefits program in line with current legislation and Virgin Mobile’s internal policies. The successful candidate will ensure seamless operations while constantly seeking ways to optimize processes across the LATAM region. What success looks like: In your first year, you will lead the successful implementation of SAP People Systems (including Payroll) across LATAM, take ownership of People Operations processes for the region, and establish fully digitalized employee file management. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Lead the SAP Implementation for People Systems in LATAM, including Payroll, ensuring effective rollout and stakeholder alignment. Oversee all People Operations processes across the LATAM region, driving consistency and operational excellence. Manage and process payroll in compliance with current labor legislation, working closely with external providers and continuously improving for efficiency, security, and accuracy. Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining supplier relationships. Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance of HR operations, and generate key HR reports and metrics for Global Management. Maintain fully digitalized and organized control of employee files across all LATAM operations. Coordinate personnel management processes, including onboarding, offboarding, disciplinary actions, and employment condition changes. Lead and review payroll provider reporting for monthly accounting purposes, ensuring alignment with internal standards. Handle all internal inquiries related to payroll, social security, and benefits, providing timely and effective resolution. Act as backup for existing People Operations colleagues during periods of leave or absence. Own the parameterization and end-to-end implementation of payroll in SAP, ensuring accurate execution with external providers. Oversee labor-related legal processes to ensure compliance and mitigate risk to the organization. Qualifications & Attributes We’re seeking someone who embodies the following: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field. A postgraduate degree in Human Resources is a plus. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in roles with similar responsibilities, ideally with exposure to general HR operations, payroll processing, and compliance with labor legislation in LATAM.
