The role of the SMS Sales Manager is to build long-lasting relationships with customers and be the voice and the face of the company. This person will be part of the Wholesales SMS team and will be dealing with customers worldwide. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing commercial strategies to grow A2P traffic in the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be expected to be is customer-focused, metrics-driven, and embrace a consultative sales philosophy. Responsibilities Grow A2P sales for LATAM Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth Conduct market research and analysis to create commercial opportunities in developing markets Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing) Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams Product, marketing, sales, customer service, etc. Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders Candidates Qualities This position has a geographic preference for candidates located in Latin America (LATAM). Proven experience in the A2P SMS industry (at least 2 years) English and Spanish is a must Experience managing OTT’s, MNO’s, and Aggregators/Carriers Excellent analytical skills and know-how to prioritize Commercially Oriented: Have an outgoing personality, and enjoy working with other people Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communications or commercial background with a passion for technology and innovation Bachelor’s Experience or equivalent years of experience Travel will be required <20% of the time.
