GoGlobal is seeking an experienced Colombian Tax Expert to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in direct and indirect taxes, hold relevant certifications to work as a tax professional in Colombia (e.g., Contador Público or equivalent), and a proven track record of delivering tax services. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services to external clients and internal company ensuring compliance with Colombian tax regulations. Tax Compliance: Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing of tax compliance reports for direct taxes (Impuesto de Renta) and indirect taxes (IVA, ICA, Retenciones en la Fuente). Provide expert guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategies to optimize tax efficiency while complying with Colombian tax laws. Stay up to date with changes in Colombian tax legislation and regulations, proactively informing clients of potential impacts. Act as a liaison with tax authorities on behalf of clients and internal company during audits, inquiries, or disputes. Perform periodic reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting for all tax-related transactions. Collaborate with internal teams to support broader financial compliance and advisory projects. Deliver exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, providing actionable insights, and building strong relationships. Requirements Relevant tax certifications in Colombia, such as Contador Público, or equivalent (highly valued). Minimum of 5 years of experience in Colombian tax compliance, including both direct and indirect taxes. Experience working in a BPO or consulting environment is highly preferred. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in tax-related software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
