Responsibilities include creating project manuals for vertical construction projects; preparing and assisting with writing specifications for Divisions 00-14 and interdisciplinary coordination of the entire project manual; assisting with product research, evaluations, and selection; developing and updating master specifications; and providing leadership for formatting specifications across disciplines. The role also involves participating in educational opportunities related to building products, materials, technologies, and standards, as well as mentoring staff. Travel will be required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or higher) in construction management, architecture, or engineering AND at least eight years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills and Experience Experience leading the specification writing process for Divisions 00-14 while meeting schedules and quality expectations. Knowledge of current products, materials, and standards including those specified in Divisions 03-14, ICC Codes, and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFCs). Experience with specifications software such as MasterSpec, SpecsIntact, BDS SpecLink. Professional licensure as an architect or engineer. LEED AP, WELL Accredited Professional, or Guiding Principles Compliance Professional. Experience developing and maintaining master specifications for vertical construction projects.
