Join a team that sets industry standards. Job Description As a Construction Project Manager , you will oversee project dashboards, scheduling, and progress tracking to ensure seamless execution. You’ll lead weekly meetings, coordinate subcontractors, manage documentation, and track change orders. With your expertise in Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and MS Project, you’ll drive efficiency, mitigate risks, and deliver high-quality construction solutions on time. Job Overview Employment Type : Indefinite Term Contract Shift : Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM PST Work Setup : Onsite, Bogotá and Medellín Your Daily Tasks Project Dashboards & Scheduling - Develop and maintain comprehensive project dashboards in Smartsheet. - Consolidate individual project schedules into a master calendar, tracking dependencies and milestones. - Identify at-risk tasks, overdue activities, and potential delays, proactively addressing issues. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely corrective actions are implemented. Progress Tracking & Reporting - Create and distribute regular project progress reports, summarizing key updates. - Compile weekly job progress markups in Bluebeam for clear visual tracking. - Complete takeoffs in Bluebeam to estimate material quantities and costs. - Track change orders and communicate potential scope variations to the team and clients. Communication & Coordination - Conduct weekly Zoom meetings with project leads to review project status and resolve challenges. - Provide clear updates on project changes, issues, and milestones to all stakeholders. - Ensure follow-ups on assigned tasks, keeping projects on track. - Submit End-of-Day (EOD) reports, summarizing completed work, upcoming priorities, and outstanding items. Documentation & File Management - Maintain project files in Dropbox, ensuring all documents (plans, schedules, RFIs, submittals, contracts) are up to date. - Assist with Project Close-Out packages, gathering warranties, operation manuals, and as-built drawings. - Ensure proper documentation of project changes for future reference. Vendor & Subcontractor Management - Notify the office team of subcontractor schedules and ensure all necessary compliance documents (COI, worker’s compensation, etc.) are collected before work begins. Requirements The Qualifications We Seek Construction Knowledge - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Construction Manager . - Understanding of construction project sequencing, scheduling, and resource allocation. - Familiarity with construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes). - Knowledge of U.S. building codes (California Building Code expertise is a plus). Technical Proficiency - Smartsheet – Creating and managing project schedules, dashboards, and reports. - MS Project – Project planning, scheduling, and tracking performance. - Bluebeam – Plan markups, takeoffs, and construction collaboration. - Dropbox / Google Drive – File sharing and document storage. Soft Skills - Strong leadership and coordination abilities to manage teams and vendors. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving project issues. - High attention to detail and time management to maintain accurate documentation. - Ability to work independently while ensuring team accountability.
