About the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Payroll & Billing to join our team and manage the critical payroll and billing processes . In this role, you will be responsible for processing time worked for temporary workers, ensuring accurate data entry into payroll and billing software, and assisting with creating and distributing customer invoices and reports. You will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of payroll and billing processes while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a background in payroll or accounting. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple priorities effectively. Responsibilities: Process time worked for temporary employees from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll policies. Enter, verify, and validate payroll data in the payroll system, ensuring accurate payments and record-keeping. Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly. Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and payroll regulations. Assist the billing department with generating, reviewing, and distributing customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Process and maintain billing records, including adjustments, reconciliations, and report generation as needed. Communicate with customers to resolve billing-related questions or discrepancies. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any discrepancies, and ensure timely submission of accurate information. Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to payroll and billing processes. Work closely with other departments to gather required information and ensure seamless payroll and billing operations. Provide regular updates to management regarding payroll and billing metrics, issues, and resolutions. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience required. At least 1 year of experience in payroll, billing, or accounting roles. Experience in the staffing or temporary labor industry is preferred. Familiarity with payroll compliance is also preferred. Proficiency in payroll and billing software, as well as Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Familiarity with time-tracking systems and accounting tools. Ability to adapt to new technology and contribute to process improvements. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Problem-solving skills and the ability to address discrepancies effectively. Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote or in-office environment.
