Job Description The Senior Project Manager within the IT PMO Office is responsible for the overall coordination, and implementation of a wide range of projects supporting our digital transformation initiatives. This role involves representing and coordinating all activities between the IT PMO, other corporate departments such as HR, Legal, and Finance among others, and senior executive stakeholders from various business units. This position will report to the Director of the PMO office under the Digital Transformation area of the IT department. Job Responsibilities: Project Management: - Lead and manage multiple complex projects from initiation through completion which may include adoption and change management. - Establish project goals, objectives, tasks, timelines, project plans, and budgets, and effectively manage, track, and communicate them to all relevant stakeholders. - Manage contractors and vendors as required. - Develop and revise project deliverables and maintain project documentation. - Define and evaluate problems and plan and execute effective solutions. - Recommend and implement improvements in project processes and deliverables. - Define the scope and impact of projects and effectively communicate them to the Director of the IT PMO office. Governance: - Ensure adherence to project management governance, including rules, regulations, policies, and processes. - Implement and manage a structured change control process to handle project modifications. - Support and improve appropriate program/project governance and management (rules, regulations, policies, processes, and activities). Risk Management: - Identify, analyze, and manage project risks and opportunities. - Support the coordination and support of risk management. Reporting: - Develop, deliver, and maintain regular project status reports for the Director of the IT PMO office and stakeholders. - Support monitoring, reporting, and effective communications. Knowledge Center: - Support the maintenance of the knowledge center, including repositories, databases, systems, and lessons learned. - Establish and maintain knowledge repositories, databases, systems, and lessons learned. Stakeholder Communication: - Lead and facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders and interested parties. - Coordinate and summarize plans, budgets, and resource needs. Standardized Processes and Methodologies: - Lead and support the documentation of requirements when needed. - Promote, improve, and adopt standardized project management processes and methodologies across all projects. - Identify and support standards, tools, processes, and procedures. ** Perform other duties as assigned even if they fall out of your initial project management role. Qualifications - Full English proficiency is absolutely required. - Degree in management of information systems or computer science preferred. - Extensive technical project management experience. - Extensive experience eliciting, articulating, and clearly documenting requirements. - Demonstrated experience using project management and planning tools, with experience in Azure DevOps being highly beneficial. - Experience with agile approaches to project and demand management. - 6+ years managing multiple projects simultaneously. - Preferred certifications: Project Management (e.g., PMP), agile project management preferred. - High level of drive, initiative, and proactivity. - Services industry experience is a plus. - Vendor management experience is essential as vendor support may be leveraged. - Attention to detail, a passion for quality, and broad business and technical understanding. - Comfort with technical projects and a broad technology background. - Ability to create structure and standardize processes in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. - Excellent communication and people skills.
