JOB DESCRIPTION: IT Support Engineer Department: Clinical Software Country: Bogotá, Colombia Job Summary Under direction of the Clinical IT Specialist, develop customer satisfaction through the installation, training, operation, integration of Werfen's clinical software platforms and analyzer interfaces. Position is located in Bogota but covers projects throughout the country. Key Accountabilities 1. Customer Support and Training - Provide customer assistance through the installation, integration, and operation of Werfen's clinical software platforms. - Instruct clients and support personnel in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the platforms. - Offer remote and on-site support for clinical software platforms. 2. Integration and Implementation - Design and implement integration models between Werfen platforms and third-party software, in collaboration with suppliers. - Support the development of interfaces between analyzers and third-party software. - Manage and oversee CSW implementation projects, including hardware preparation and connectivity setup. 3. Project and Technology Management - Manage and monitor execution of CSW projects with clients. - Evaluate and acquire new technologies relevant to clinical software solutions. - Prepare and administer server solutions for CSW platforms. 4. Documentation and Communication - Create and manage client manuals, including connectivity architecture and network topologies. - Serve as a liaison between the company and customers, ensuring effective communication. 5. Compliance and Quality - Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies, procedures, and the Werfen Code of Ethics. - Handle incident escalation and manage software updates for clinical platforms. 6. Administrative Support - Coordinate and request quotes for analyzer interfaces and manage purchase orders. - Perform hardware support for customer-shipped workstations. - Carry out other responsibilities as assigned by the Clinical IT Specialist.
