The role: Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development, Kiwibot is seeking a Corporate Development& FinOps who will be instrumental in driving both strategiccorporate transactions and financial operations optimization. Thisrole is a 50/50 hybrid of Corporate Development and FinOps, makingit ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys both transactionexecution and operational financial insights. This new role isdesigned for an individual with strong analytical, financial, andbusiness intelligence (BI) skills, along with an interest incorporate strategy. You will work closely with senior management toidentify opportunities for growth, assess the strategic impact ofpotential transactions, leverage BI tools to informdecision-making, and support the execution of mergers andacquisitions (M&A;) and other key business developmentinitiatives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial & OperationalAnalysis (FinOps - 50%) - Build data-driven dashboards and reportsusing BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Datastudio) to track keyfinancial and operational metrics that support strategicdecision-making. - Use BI tools to automate reporting processes andtrack business performance against strategic goals to generateactionable strategic insights for management. - Monitor uniteconomics, cash flow, profitability, and operational KPIs,identifying opportunities to optimize business performance andidentify growth opportunities. - Assist in financial planning &analysis; (FP&A;), including budgeting, forecasting, and varianceanalysis. - Evaluate and model the financial impact of potentialstrategic initiatives and investments. - Collaborate withcross-functional teams (FP&A;, Accounting, Operations) toenhance business performance. 2. Corporate Development &Transaction; Execution (50%): - Conduct industry, market, andcompetitive research to identify emerging trends and growthopportunities. - Provide analytical support in the development ofstrategic initiatives, new business opportunities, and long-termplanning. - Assist in identifying, evaluating, and executingmergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, ensuring thattimelines and deliverables are met. - Build and maintain financialmodels (e.g., discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis,precedent transactions) to assess the financial impact ofacquisitions and other business opportunities. - Support the duediligence process by gathering, analyzing, and presentingfinancial, operational, and market data. - Assist in reviewing andmanaging contracts, transaction documentation, andboard/shareholder approvals. - Maintain project documentation andensure efficient communication across teams involved in corporatedevelopment initiatives. - Help prepare materials, investmentmemoranda, reports, and presentations for senior management, theboard, and stakeholders to support decision-making processes. -Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, operations)to support the execution of corporate transactions and strategicinitiatives. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. -Experience: - 2-4 years of experience in corporate development,investment banking, management consulting, private equity, or asimilar field. - Familiarity with financial modeling, valuationtechniques, and financial statement analysis. - Exposure to M&Atransactions;, business development, strategic planning, andcorporate governance processes is a plus. - Experience withbusiness intelligence (BI) tools and platforms (e.g., Power BI,Tableau, Datastudio, Qlik, etc.) is required. - Skills: - Strongproficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, data analysis)and G-Suite (presentation and document preparation,record-keeping). - Proficiency in BI tools for data visualization,reporting, and analysis. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, andorganizational skills, with the ability to synthesize complexfinancial and operational data. - Professional proficiency in English: excellent verbal and written communication skills with theability to communicate complex financial and business conceptsclearly. - Exceptional organizational skills—ability to managemultiple projects, track deliverables, and meet deadlines in afast-paced environment. - Experience in the technology,manufacturing, robotics, or autonomous vehicle industries is highlydesirable. - Attributes: - Self-motivated and detail-oriented, withthe ability to work independently and collaboratively. - Strongbusiness acumen and understanding of corporate finance, strategy,and business intelligence. - Eagerness to contribute to high-levelcorporate strategy and development initiatives.
