POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES ● 3–5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or analytics engineering. ● Comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight, especially in fast-paced, agile ● Proficient with version control systems like Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., code reviews, branching strategies). ● Experience working with stakeholders who may have partial but not deep technical context, translating requirements into technical implementations. POSITION SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS Must have ● Snowflake expertise with deep working knowledge of data warehousing best practices and performance tuning. ● Hands-on experience with dbt (Data Build Tool), including building, deploying, and managing models in production environments. ● Advanced SQL proficiency, with the ability to write optimized and complex queries for analytics and data transformation. ● Strong data modeling skills, with experience designing scalable and maintainable models for both analytical and operational use cases. ● Proficiency in Python for scripting, transformation logic, and building ETL/ELT pipelines. ● Experience developing and maintaining ELT pipelines, ideally using Python-based orchestration frameworks. Nice to have ● Experience migrating from tools like DOMO or Looker. ● Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines (e.g., dbt Cloud, GitHub Actions). ● Prior exposure to BI teams or embedded analytics roles.
