Job Overview: We’re looking for a versatile Training and Knowledge Specialist to join our Learning & Development team. This team is responsible for building confident, knowledgeable, and empowered team members by delivering engaging new hire training, impactful ongoing development, and continuous knowledge management. Through strong collaboration we drive performance, adaptability, and service excellence across Furnished Finder. In this role, you will support the growth and effectiveness of both our Customer Experience and Sales teams by designing and delivering impactful training experiences, creating and maintaining up-to-date knowledge resources, and fostering a culture of continuous learning. As a Training and Knowledge Specialist, you’ll partner closely with team leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify learning needs, develop engaging content, and ensure our teams are well-equipped to succeed. You’ll also help maintain knowledge management systems that make critical information easy to find and use. Responsibilities: Training Design & Delivery - Identify and analyze learning needs across the organization through employee/leader feedback, performance consulting, and quality assurance data. - Develop, maintain, and facilitate onboarding programs and ongoing learning experiences (virtual and asynchronous). - Create engaging and scalable training materials including slide decks, standard operating procedures, eLearning modules, job aids, and scenario-based role-plays. - Monitor and assess training effectiveness using direct feedback, performance metrics, and assessment tools. - Implement learning programs through various modalities such as classroom instruction, online learning platforms, mentoring, and coaching. - Track training requests, schedules, and completions using learning management or internal tracking tools. Knowledge Management & Communications - Create, maintain and improve internal knowledge bases content - Partner with subject matter experts to curate and update accurate, easy-to-navigate documentation. - Advocate for knowledge-first practices across teams and contribute to process documentation. - Coordinate regular communications with the Operations team, Operational Excellence, Marketing, and Product. Operational Excellence Collaboration - Liaise with Operations, Product, and Ops Excellence teams to align training initiatives with business goals and product changes. - Assist in change management efforts through clear, timely communication and supporting materials. Qualifications: Required Skills - 2+ years of experience in a training or enablement role, ideally in a dual Customer Support and Sales environment. - Proven and tested C1 English written, verbal, and comprehension skills. - Strong instructional design and training facilitation skills. - Ability to communicate ambiguous or complicated subject matter effectively by breaking down into consumable pieces. - A passion for learning and seeing people thrive. Respect for learning methods and approaches. - Experience with knowledge management platforms (e.g., Guru, Confluence, Notion, Zendesk). - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with capabilities to simplify complex information. - High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent certifications - Experience in a fast-growing tech or marketplace company. - Familiarity with LMS platforms (e.g., Lessonly, Docebo, TalentLMS). - Understanding of adult learning principles and performance-based training approaches.
