Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Key Account Manager in our Performance Materials division. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading global brands and drive business expansion across Vietnam and Cambodia. - This role involves collaborating closely with brand teams to identify new polyurethane project opportunities and develop comprehensive account engagement plans for business growth in Vietnam. - You will be responsible for monitoring evolving market trends, engaging regularly with customers, and gaining a deep understanding of their sustainability objectives related to footwear production. - Promoting innovative sustainable materials is a key aspect of this role, which involves generating new projects in partnership with internal teams and executing top-down initiatives such as recycled PU projects. - You will take ownership of business performance indicators for key accounts in Vietnam, ensuring targets are met through strategic relationship building and opportunity exploration. - Overseeing relationships with key footwear manufacturing customers requires devising tailored engagement plans to unlock new business avenues within the value chain. - You will work collaboratively with regional account managers across Asia to drive PU business growth and contribute to broader operational objectives. - Providing actionable market insights to help steer the innovation pipeline is essential, ensuring that product development aligns with current market needs and customer expectations. - Initiating and managing innovation projects designed to secure long-term growth, including creating robust business cases and prioritising initiatives based on impact. - Increasing transplant business activities in Cambodia by identifying new customers and pursuing fresh project opportunities through regular site visits. Requirements - A minimum degree qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline is essential for this position. - At least five years' experience in sales, marketing or product development within the footwear industry is highly desirable for success in this role. - Demonstrated knowledge of the footwear value chain with a focus on material development or T1/T2 manufacturing processes is required. - Proven experience working effectively within cross-regional teams is important for fostering collaboration across multiple markets. - Strong background in polyurethanes is necessary to support technical discussions and project delivery. - Key account management skills are preferred for building lasting client partnerships and driving business outcomes. - Excellent communication abilities in English combined with proficiency in either Korean or Chinese are needed for effective stakeholder engagement. - High proficiency using Salesforce.com alongside Microsoft Office tools is expected for efficient workflow management. - A track record of driving sustainable solutions while maintaining a clear customer focus is crucial for aligning with organisational values. - The ability to act with entrepreneurial drive while communicating effectively ensures successful project execution. - Possession of a valid driving licence facilitates travel between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City for business meetings.
