Key Responsibilities: The Digital Animator helps bring World Vision’s brand and communications to life by creating animations that are relevant to our audiences, easy to understand, and visually distinctive. Through motion design and animated storytelling, this role strengthens connections, simplifies complex ideas, and makes our brand stand out across digital platforms. Working with creative, content and functional teams, the animator ensures every asset supports our strategy by combining clarity, consistency, and creative distinction. Key Job Responsibilities: (a) Animation & Motion Design Design and animate motion graphics for videos, social media, digital campaigns, and other assets that align with supporter needs and platform expectations. (b) Concept Development & Storyboarding Collaborate with teams to storyboard and visualise animation concepts that clearly communicate key messages. (c) Quality Control Review and refine animations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality. Make necessary adjustments and corrections based on feedback. Prepare animations for various channels (e.g. social, web, presentations), ensuring correct formats and technical standards. (d) Overall Project Management Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously. Ensure project deadlines are met and priorities are balanced Maintain organised files and documentation for all projects. (e) Capability Provide training on effective design. Work with key staff to improve their ability to create effective designs. Provide templates and recommendation on software, platforms and training options. (f) Innovation & Trends Monitor animation trends and tools to inspire fresh, distinctive approaches to storytelling and supporter engagement. Required Education, Skills, and Professional Experience: Post-secondary, non-tertiary qualification in Animation, Motion Graphics, Visual Communications, or a related field (e.g., diploma or professional certificate). 2–4 years of relevant experience in digital animation, preferable within a non-profit or marketing environment. Proven experience in creating animations for digital platforms. Experience in the humanitarian, non-profit, or faith-based sector is an advantage, but not required. Effective in written and verbal communication in English Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Animate, and Premiere Pro. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Work from home role.
