Forever. To create the best experience for our new hire (you?!) this role does require that you are based within Pacific (UTC - 7) through UTC time zones We are looking for someone exceptional to take ownership of several key aspects of our monetization roadmap: modeling of top pricing and monetization opportunities, analysis of diverse data sources and synthesis of insights to inform monetization strategy, and project management of frequent cross-functional monetization experiments. You'll partner closely with stakeholders across the company, especially in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance. In joining our hyper-growth startup, your work will have high visibility and drive critical decisions that are core to Oyster's long-term success. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical person who is knowledgeable about SaaS pricing and is focused on solving customer problems while delivering business impact. You will have the opportunity to partner with senior stakeholders and leaders across the company. **What you'll do**: You will work in a collaborative manner with the finance, operations, marketing, sales and product teams to create relevant pricing and packaging strategies to attract, engage, and convert the thousands of companies that want to hire people remotely in other countries. - Utilize product usage, customer retention, adoption, financial data, and additional inputs to model the expected impacts of pricing initiatives - Conduct quantitative analysis and secondary research to help inform the monetization roadmap - Communicate insights to your stakeholders with a data-driven point of view and plan for action - Partner with our GTM teams to implement your recommendations, as well as track and measure the impact of your recommendations - Develop Dashboards and report on Pricing Metrics and KPIs **What we're looking for**: - 2+ years of experience working in pricing analytics, plus additional analytical experience - High level of Excel proficiency and analysis and/or financial modeling skills to estimate the impact of pricing and packaging changes - Deep experience with typical sales-stack technologies and analytical tools (e.g., SFDC, SQL, Looker/Tableau or similar) - Familiarity with typical SaaS pricing strategies, A/B testing methodology and analysis, value based pricing, and the tradeoffs of different pricing approaches for a given opportunity from the perspective of both the customer and the business - A natural curiosity and hypothesis driven approach to business problems - Excellent communication, executive presence, storytelling, and collaboration skills **You'll also need...**: - A reliable home internet connection (or be able to get one) - Fluent English language skills **How we work together at Oyster**: Our values guide the work we do, the decisions we make, and the culture that makes us special.
