Here in Colombia, we’re looking for an ambitious self-starter to join the global KISTERS’ HydroMet team. You will be responsible, together with other team members, for KISTERS hardware and software customer support activities in the Latam region, reporting to the Managing Director of KISTERS Latam. You will manage, nurture, and retain current KISTERS customers. Job Purpose The main objective of the Technical Support Manager is to define, plan, coordinate, and control all activities for the provision of technical support services to clients in Latin America, serving as the technical reference for the area to guarantee compliance with defined service level indicators and agreements. Responsibilities Provide online and/or face-to-face technical support for both hardware and software. Manage KISTERS cloud solution for environmental monitoring users in Latin America. Evaluate user requirements and/or pending incidents upon receiving the systems, determining their impact, priority, technical feasibility, and contractual situation. Ensure timely solutions for reported cases by involving technical resources locally, reducing escalations to higher levels. Approve escalations to higher support levels with prior technical analyses supporting the need for escalation. Guarantee registration, evaluation, and management of incidents and requirements reported by users in a timely manner, complying with defined requirements. Willingness to travel within Latam countries. Must-haves / Requirements Qualifications: Electronic, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related fields. Specialist Knowledge: Technical areas. Experience: 3 years in technical support directly to customers, collaboration with international work teams. Technical Skills: Solid knowledge in managing Hydrological and Meteorological applications, remote transmission systems, data collection platforms (Dataloggers, PLC, etc.), and data management software. Ability to determine the cause/root cause of software or hardware issues related to operating systems, applications, networks, or databases. Languages: Intermediate English or better. Industry-related: Knowledge and experience in Environmental applications, particularly in hydrology and meteorology. Desirable knowledge in Hydrology, Meteorology, energy, water quality, agriculture, or related applications. Technical Skills: Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word. Excellent interpersonal skills.
