Job Summary This person will be responsible for IT Release Management, change management, Infrastructure Upgrade project management, Major Incident Management, Environment Management, DeploymentManagement, Refresh Management & Information Security Compliance for Global IT Enterprise Applications in Equinix. The project involves working with various teams in IT to manage the securitypatching of various Operating System (OS), DB & Application, as part of Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM). Responsibilities Partners with Scrum and system teams to create awareness of priority and schedule of deployment activitiesthrough environments to ensure the focus is sustained on the highest priority technical and businessfeatures Uses agile methodologies to plan, coordinate, and lead deployments of major releases, weekly patches, and dailychanges Optimizes and improves processes and methodology and reviews with different stakeholders and impacted parties to make sure they are onboard with changes and implements those changes Leads implementation of process changes and change management cycles, Testing, Deployment and Support Planning Reviews test, deployment, and support plans to ensure completeness and appropriate level of detail. Ensures plans are communicated to stakeholders effectively. Leadership of release managementteams, critical escalations, and driving issues to closure ReleaseManagement Defines the annual release schedule and single global release plan that includes all projects aligned to specific releases· Responsible for all aspects of release management and execution, providingleadership and guidance to the release management and stakeholder teams· Conducts Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews. Leads and coordinates Go-Live activities, including execution of deployment plans and checklists. Proactively develops and maintains a strong knowledge of the systems related to Release Engineering and makes recommendations to improve the reliability, scalability, performance, or security ofthese systems as appropriate.
