Description Be part of an expanding global implementation team in the exciting role of Configuration Analyst, working on a global employee benefits platform serving over 250,000 customers across 21 countries, and growing. Willis Towers Watson has developed a highly-configurable employee benefits platform designed to meet the demands of corporate clients in a complex global market, providing end users with a simple and intuitive personalised experience to help them manage their employee benefits portfolio. As a Configuration Analyst you will elicit requirements and configure organisations and benefits plans and reporting for local and global clients. This will involve working within a global project team, analysing requirements and data, designing your configuration approach, preparing and managing your project tasks using a task management workflow system, configuring your client organisations, product rules and rates, customising the user interface and system notifications, carrying out and supporting unit, integration and user acceptance testing, preparing and provisioning data and successfully launching your projects. You will also use various Azure systems for ETL (Extract, Transform Load) work such as Azure Data Factory, DevOps. The Role - Being part of a global project team, you will attend regular project calls and provide updates on the status of your project activities, highlighting and managing risks and issues that could impact the overall success of the project. - Assess requirements documentation and data to ensure a clear understanding of what is required, questioning and clarifying requirements with internal project team members as needed. - Provide advice and solutions to internal stakeholders based on your advanced knowledge of system capabilities. - Design your configuration approach by creating a configuration design document. - Specifiy integration logic to ensure the system receives the necessary data values to meet the project requirements. - Prepare your configuration activities using the configuration workflow management solution through DevOps. - Accurately complete your configuration activities and maintain the status of your configuration tasks within the workflow management solution on a daily basis. - Prepare, execute and support unit, integration and user acceptance testing phases, raising and managing bugs in a pro-active and timely manner through Jira and Microsoft DevOps. - Analyse, prepare, upload, validate, reconcile and report data through Microsoft Excel and ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools. - Be curious and self-learn to maintain your knowledge of system capabilities, following regular ongoing product enhancement releases. - Be creative and share ideas for platform and process improvements. - Collaborate with global and local teams using tools such as Microsoft SharePoint. - Take the initiative as well as being able to accept guidance and instructions from others. - Support others within the team. Qualifications The Requirements - A logical and methodical approach to your work with strong attention to detail. - Strong problem solving skills in order to analyse data and requirements and find appropriate solutions. - Experience working on a configurable technology platform desirable. - Strong understanding of data and experience with data validation and manipulation using Microsoft Excel. - Experience working with ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) tools would be beneficial. - Experience in automation tools such as Power Automate would be beneficial - Good English language speaking and writing skills are essential. - Self-motivated and ability to work on own and to tight timescales. - Positive attitude towards change and organisational development. - Ideally educated to degree level.
