We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead and drive software development projects from planning to delivery. This role requires strong experience with Jira to manage epics, work items, workflows, track progress, and ensure projects are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of resource allocation and excellent communication skills to keep teams aligned and stakeholders informed. The scope includes managing projects related to Automation, RPA, Analytics, and app development within the scope of Data & Analytics, leveraging Salesforce and Heroku. Coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and maximizes customer value. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project's organization and manage resources, time, scope, quality, and risks. Moreover, ensure development teams understand customer's expectations to achieve business goals and strategy. Responsibilities • Manage end-to-end software development projects using Jira. • Manage customer expectations, hit target delivery dates accordingly and maximize product value. • Planning the project in all its aspects, identifying the activities to be carried out, the resources, the deadlines, and the expected costs: a. Manage resources in an effective and efficient manner. Analyze and optimize resource allocation across teams. b. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. c. Develop and manage a detailed project work plan. d. Track project hours to meet the budget. e. Build and prioritize product backlog items to meet the expectations of customers and end users. f. Execute the project meetings, track progress, review the deliverables, and improve the team performance. g. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress. h. Track relevant KPI and reporting cadence with stakeholders. i. Controlling time management, setting realistic deadlines, and communicating them consistently to the teams. j. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage sprint planning • Monitor progress, remove roadblocks, and ensure timely delivery. • Communicate project status, timelines, and risks clearly to stakeholders. • Supply Capex information from development team for finance. • Manage contracts with third party vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables (internal Hibbett suppliers). • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution. • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. Requirements • Ability to lead and drive projects with several stakeholders. • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field. • +5 years of technical project management experience. • Expert in application of agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban). • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Jira is a must. • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. • Experience managing several projects simultaneously, with direct relationship with the areas of technology and the final customer. • Excellent analytical skills. • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful. • Strong writing, communication and presentation skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
