Purpose of the role: Lead the development and growth of the category and channel by being responsible for the strategic vision and designing the commercial plan for how our brands unlock and drive growth opportunities within Modern Trade channels, ensuring effective execution and mid & long-term commercial impact. This includes having a forward-looking vision to identify trends that move the brand and category strategy one step ahead of customer, shopper, and consumer needs in both physical and digital environments. Key Responsabilities- Identify insights and Channel-Category trends with an end-to-end (E2E) view —considering the value chain, service models, shopper, customer, and category— to ensure efficient channel & Category development.- Identifying category growth drivers within the channel translating those drivers into 3Y-Channel Business Plan; ensuring the integration with shopper development and RGM drivers, resulting in a single, aligned commercial plan. All planned channel activities must consider replicability in digital environments where applicable.- Identify whitespaces opportunities in terms of DIAGEO’s brands input into category plans (innovation, format, usage occasion) that drive future growth in the channel.- Build retailer-Channel-facing stories to support brand initiatives through a category lens, Leading the development and persuasive delivery of the Channel Planning and MacroPlanner, including all required information (critical metrics, distributor-level deployment, regional and customer plans, etc.).- Develop and continuously update the “Picture of Success” for the channel, based on all Sales Drivers and sales ecosystems (both physical and digital), ensuring category & brand strategy execution.- Prioritize and align the Picture of Success and its objectives with the Sales Effectiveness team to ensure they are reflected and prioritized in performance evaluation and reward systems.- Develop growth playbooks (PDE and execution guidelines) by channel and segment.- Define and coordinate with RGM team, pricing and promotional activities that benefit category and brand future growth- Define investment within Commercial Agreements based on key channel-category growth drivers in each customer.- Co-create Joint Business Plans with Category Management & Sales teams for Key customers. à Dar input- Optimize return on investment for the channel, ensuring performance management (P&L; & return on investment)- Based on monthly channel-category performance tracking, lead and align volume implications to feed the S&OP; process in consensus with BU teams. Supporting and aligning Shopper & Brand Teams on any BB implications to modify or add activities as needed.- Responsible for building the learning agenda with CP&A; and Shopper teams of Key Plans for the channel, capturing learnings and developing more efficient future. Includes leading M&E; processes (pre and post evaluations).- Define the correct segmentation of the channels in charge, both from a functional and potential perspective. About you: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering or related fields.- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Trade Marketing and Commercial Roles in Colombian Modern Trade (Grupo Éxito, Olímpica, Oxxo, D1, etc.). Knowledge of ecommerce channel will be considered as a plus- Experience in budget management and P&L; ownership, strategic planning and shopper insights- Knowledge and management of Sales and Financial performance indicators.- Sophisticated proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
