R&ASD; operates sophisticated pilot plant facilities supporting research, technology development, and technical services. The current assets include 15 pilot plants covering separation, refining, petrochemical, and sustainability processes. The primary role involves ensuring the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of pilot plant processes, especially those involving catalytic processes with hydrocarbons. You will design, implement, and optimize processes, manage engineering projects, and oversee pilot plant operations. Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement experimental plans for catalyst and process testing. - Collaborate on pilot plant design and experiment planning. - Supervise pilot plant operations, equipment performance, and test variables. - Monitor process parameters and suggest optimizations. - Identify and troubleshoot operational issues. - Analyze data from catalyst testing and process simulations. - Prepare detailed reports on pilot plant tests. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures. - Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred. - Minimum of 10 years of plant operations or engineering experience, with at least 5 in the hydrocarbon industry. Pilot plant experience is a plus. - Knowledge of statutory regulations, industry standards, and practical application. - Experience managing small to medium projects. - Ability to work in unstructured environments and develop new systems. - Understanding of area classifications and site equipment specifications. - Demonstrated commitment to safety and hands-on operational support.
