Learn more on our history, our values, our areas of intervention. Focus on our activities in VENEZUELA PUI has been addressing humanitarian needs in Venezuela since 2019. The organization is framing its intervention through an integrated health, nutrition, MHPSS, protection, and WaSH approach. PUI coordinates its programs within the humanitarian cluster system, establishing multi-sectoral partnerships with both national and international NGOs. Projects are implemented in highly populated urban vulnerable areas as well as in hard-to-reach rural and indigenous communities, supporting both fixed and mobile health clinics. The mission is growing, differentiating its donor portfolio, sectors of intervention, and areas of implementation, focusing on increasing the quality of its programming. What about the Grants Manager? Responsibilities As Grants Manager, you will provide key support in the development of concept notes, proposals, reports, and other documents relevant to the programs. You will be the mission focal point for all matters related to donor contracts, compliance, guidelines, and reports, regularly reporting to HQ Program Officer or HQ Grants Officer. Your responsibilities include: Award management: Ensuring understanding, archiving, follow-up, and internal communication about signed awards, contracts, and amendments in collaboration with program teams and HQ. Assisting the DHoMP and Field Coordinators in follow-up of program activities and contract implementation, supporting technical coordinators and operations teams in tracking, collecting, and compiling operational progress information. Reporting management: Ensuring timely and quality production of communication materials, internal and external reports, concept notes, and proposals, including annexes. Supporting the MEAL unit in data collection and analysis, producing comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, and developing SOPs for program development and reporting. Donor & fundraising strategy: Coordinating and acting as focal point for designing and implementing donor and fundraising strategies, including mapping local partners, donors, and consortium opportunities. Communication: Coordinating and acting as focal point for communication strategy, defining targets, outcomes, and developing communication channels and products, managing internal and external communications. Capacity building: Supervising and building the reporting and analysis capacities of the Grants Officer. The challenges that await you Ensuring program quality throughout the mission Capacity-building and mentorship on project cycle management Partnerships and donor engagement Research for new opportunities and field expansion What you will need to succeed Training: Master’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent professional experience. Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar roles, experience in conflict zones or volatile contexts, knowledge of donor compliance (ECHO, BHA, SIDA, GAC, WFP), previous work with PUI is a plus. Skills: Strong writing, attention to detail, planning, and software skills including database management, statistical packages, and GIS. Qualities: Analytical, good report writing under deadlines, presentation skills, initiative, flexibility, team collaboration, management abilities, interpersonal skills, and commitment to staff development.
