Learn more at https://www.jnj.com Job Function: Marketing Job Sub Function: Events Job Category: People Leader All Job Posting Locations: Bogotá, Distrito Capital, Colombia Job Description: Purpose: Supervises a team of six, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Guides the event planning team and executes events for the organization with the goal of increasing product/brand awareness. Guides each stage of production through maintaining communication with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event operations. Coordinates with external vendors to ensure events have effective services and manage the flow of operations during events. Adheres to established safety, privacy, and confidentiality terms. Leads the area strategic priorities and projects implementation, looking to enhance the operation efficiency, innovate on the service provided, and endorse data analytics capacity for business objectives achievement. Main Resposibilities: - Lead the LAN (Col, PE, Ec) Events area, in charge of the logistic coordination end to end, for medical, promotional, and market access activities, as part of the business tactical plan execution. - Lead a value-added relationship with the J&J; global M&E; agency, establish the proper governance and communicational channels to effectively align the day-to-day operation, follow up on the SLAs, identify improvement, anticipate risk, propose actions plans, provide a good and better service to our internal and external stakeholders. - Guarantee the Event SOP and processes compliance by partnering with all the support areas, (GS, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement), business owners, and events coordinators, to maintain a flawless execution, in line with internal policies and guidelines, and looking for the continuous evolution, to provide better service and experience every time. - The event leader should manage team capacity according to events complexity mix, business planning, and forecast, anticipating upcoming operations peaks proposing actions together with the M&E; agency to guarantee a proper operation. - The person will lead the area strategic priorities and projects implementation, looking to enhance the operation efficiency, innovate on the service provided, and endorse the analytics capacity to better accompany the business objectives achievement. - The event leader represents the LOC at a regional events council LATAM. In this role, the leader should escalate local needs but also communicate and deploy regional enhancements and new capabilities locally. - The leader also acts as a Subject matter expert (SME) by co-creating regional solutions, and leading some regional pilots locally, for later regional roll-out. - The Event leader should implement effective communication channels with business therapeutics areas, not only for execution vs. planning follow-up but also to provide deep insights to guide better and smart interactions with external stakeholders from the events + FFE point of view. - The event leader must guarantee the finance process control, comply with internal policies, looking to minimize possible deviations (i.e OC, HPR, Conciliations, Provisions, AR, R2P, etc.) - The leader should also guarantee the correct “Transfer of Value” report with a regular cadence. - Finally, the event leader should guarantee the correct event closing and the appropriate support documentation to guarantee an “audit ready” status for the LOC. - Create new and better ways to track events satisfaction level, capturing insights about the experience, quality, and competitiveness, looking to enrich the inputs for the business strategies and tactical plan definition. - Provide a continuous training strategy, to keep the internal clients aware and active with the internal policies, processes, and the appropriate platform use. Not only for new joiners onboarding, but also on pain points that require enforcement, or when deploying new capabilities, guarantee flawless execution. - The leader should lead the events local dashboard implementation and continuous enhancements to better track events execution but also include business-oriented metrics for business analysis purposes. - The event leader should work to have a positive internal climate within his/her team, guarantee an inclusive environment, and invest time mentoring and guiding his/her team to leverage on their development. The leader should also promote a way of working that maximizes team engagement, partnership, and synergic work to surpass the objectives - Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team. Requirements: - A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s or additional certification is a plus. - A minimum of 3 years of job experience in commercial excellence, events or commercial operations areas, leading or acting as a senior subject matter expert in this field. - Previous experience in the events logistic coordination process is a plus. Pharmaceutical industry experience and knowledge about pharma innovation/institutional market will be highly valued. - Broad experience managing Third parties, as part of day-to-day operation. Experience managing M&E; agencies is a plus. - Experience with agile, scrum, design thinking, etc. will be valued. - Intermediate - Advanced English level is required.
