Reporting to the Director of Finance, your primary responsibilities include the successful management and reconciliation of your assigned portfolio of client accounts to maintain or lower Anthology’s AR balance and increase available cash. In addition to aiding in the collection on overdue accounts, you will be tasked with effectively resolving client issues and working collaboratively with colleagues in other Anthology departments. Primary responsibilities will include: - Preparing reports from Microsoft 365 - Researching and reconciling assigned accounts for clients located in the US and/or international - Following-up with clients to facilitate payments per contract terms and conditions - Maintaining complete records on all accounts including detailed documentation on collection efforts and issue resolution - Properly documenting client account activity to facilitate the reserving or write-off process as necessary - Mastering the interplay of various systems to assist with researching and resolving each account - Required skills/qualifications:_ - Prior work experience in accounts receivable, collections or related field, OR undergraduate degree in a related field - Client focused - Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize to accomplish specific tasks - Highly motivated, can-do attitude - Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively partner with clients and fellow colleagues - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Knowledge of Microsoft Office - Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above - Preferred skills/qualifications:_ - Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and techniques and capability to recommend solutions to clients to resolve payment or invoicing issues - Prior Microsoft 365 Financials experience **The Office**: We have an office located in Bogota, Colombia as a hub for the LAC market. *** - Located in Capital Towers center in the financial district - Excellent and secure area to eat lunch, have a walk, or dine after office hours - Benefits in prepaid medicine, dental plan, and wellness allowance - Easy access to public transportation close to two important avenues, Carrera 7 and Calle 100 - Free parking for employees and paid parking for visitors - Multiple private spaces for virtual and face-to-face meetings - Regular events like bring your dog to work day and ping-pong, foosball, and Mario Kart tournaments - Sodexo card provided for employees - Daily budget to spend on beverage vending machines - Learn more about the Bogota office culture by checking out our Facebook page - Option for remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
