This role is crucial for ensuring the security and efficiency of our identity and access management operations. This new team member will play a vital part in the day-to-day operational tasks of the IAM team, working with various systems and processes to maintain a secure and compliant environment. This position requires a professional with experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations, with a strong understanding of IAM principles and passionate about safeguarding digital identities. Key Responsibilities: As an Identity and Access Management Analyst, the core responsibilities will include: Operational IAM Task Management: Executing daily operational tasks related to user lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes for employees, contractors, and external users. Administering and maintaining distribution lists, corporate groups, and shared drives access, ensuring proper permissions and security. Actively managing and resolving Jira and ServiceNow tickets related to access requests, issues, and incidents in a timely and efficient manner. Maintaining and updating matrices of privileged accounts, ensuring accurate records and adherence to the principle of least privilege. Supporting the creation, review, and updating of comprehensive IAM documentation, including procedures, guidelines, playbooks and knowledge base articles. Access Control and Security: Assisting in conducting regular reviews and audits of user access and entitlements to ensure compliance with security policies and identify potential risks. Supporting the implementation and maintenance of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), least-privilege and segregation of duties (SoD) principles across various systems. Contributing to the management of Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Federation, Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Self-service password reset implementations. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Collaborating effectively with HR, IT, and other departments & stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of IAM processes. Identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement within daily IAM operations to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Contributing to the continuous improvement of IAM processes and solutions. Supporting the response to access-related security incidents, providing initial analysis and assistance with remediation efforts. Key Qualifications: Bilingual (English - Spanish) B1/B2 is a plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar. Post-graduate degree in cyber/information security is a plus. Certifications: Certifications in IAM platforms (e.g., Certified Identity and Access Manager - CIAM) are highly desirable but not essential. Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in Identity and Access Management. Proven hands-on experience with daily IAM tasks, including onboarding, offboarding, and access management. Familiarity with ITSM tools like Jira and ServiceNow for ticket management. Experience with maintaining documentation and managing access matrices. Hands-on experience with IAM tools and technologies (e.g., Okta, MS Entra, SailPoint, CyberArk) Experience with cloud security (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) is a plus. Skills & Competencies: Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts, including user lifecycle management, access provisioning, and de-provisioning. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, crucial for maintaining accurate records and documentation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot access-related issues efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving security landscapes. A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
