Oncology Sales Specialist To ensure patient access to oncology therapies related to Astellas's products and services for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and staff within the assigned geography. Educate customers on product use, characteristics, indicated treatments, and related developments. Professionally represent Astellas in the field, maintaining high visibility and customer satisfaction in the territory. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers. Call on targeted physicians, oncology clinics, centers, and hospitals to educate on product use through meetings, presentations, professional education programs, and other means. Responsible for high call and field productivity, meeting or exceeding call plans with 5 days in the field weekly, supported by office time for planning, follow-up, and preparations. Develop educational and business territory plans, supporting customer needs using company resources as directed by the Business Unit Lead. Utilize clinical knowledge to increase awareness and learning among physicians regarding Astellas's products. Coordinate educational efforts with peers across franchises and commercial teams to maximize patient access to Astellas's products in the territory. Achieve territory goals as assigned by the Business Unit Lead, adhering to ethical sales practices and regulations. Deliver clinical and technical value to healthcare providers, helping meet patient care needs within regulatory and compliance guidelines. Develop strategies using annual territory business plans and call activity reports. Report educational activities, testing, expenses, and submit reports by deadlines set by the Promotional Manager.
