We seek an experienced and highly motivated leader whose main purpose is to ensure compliance with the Shared Service Center strategy, aiming to consolidate customer satisfaction and loyalty to make their business more productive and profitable, contributing to the company's results. The position will be based in Cartagena, Colombia, reporting directly to the Record to Report Manager. Responsibilities Main Objective: Support the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including journal entries, fixed assets, and month-end closing activities, in compliance with internal procedures. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports to ensure clear and reliable financial information for decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Assist in executing financial processes in line with internal policies, procedures, and fiscal regulations. Support the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements. Support IT tools to streamline and automate processes. Geographical Scope: LATAM Core Duties: Assist in monitoring General Ledger (GL) postings for accuracy. Support intercompany reconciliation processes. Help prepare monthly financial reports in compliance with IFRS and company standards. Assist in managing fixed assets, including data entry and depreciation tracking. Perform basic account reconciliations, escalating discrepancies as needed. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support process documentation. Comply with HESQ policies and standards, based on the 'Safe by Choice' philosophy, and legal requirements. Profile Education: Accountant (CPA) or related field (final semesters acceptable) Languages: Intermediate English (written and spoken) Technical Skills: Advanced IT tools (Excel Macros, Power Query, PivotTables, VBA, formulas); Desirable: SAP / HFM Functional Knowledge: Accounting, IFRS, Finance Experience: Minimum 1 year in similar roles Skills: Analytical thinking, Excel proficiency, effective communication, attention to detail, problem-solving Additional Information We value diversity and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
