Join our team as an Electrical Systems Specialist. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Hardware and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced electrical systems and embedded solutions for our autonomous robots. You will report directly to the Leader of the Hardware and Manufacturing Department and collaborate closely with the Advanced Robotics team. A typical day in this role might include: - Designing electronic systems for robotic applications, including circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems. - Supporting PCB design, schematic capture, and component selection using CAD tools such as Altium, KiCad, and LTSpice. - Developing and maintaining firmware and embedded software in C/C++. - Selecting and integrating sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and communication interfaces. - Troubleshooting and debugging electronic circuits and embedded systems. - Conducting performance testing and ensuring the reliability of electronic components. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards for safety, EMI/EMC, and environmental regulations. To succeed in this role, you will need: - A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in electrical/embedded systems engineering, including analog/digital circuit design and firmware development. - Strong skills in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems. - Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium, KiCad, and LTSpice. - Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS). - Expertise in embedded programming using C/C++.
