Business Development Representative (Colombia) Opportunity Details Full time Business Development Representative (Colombia) We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Sales Representative to connect with interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors. This position requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and the ability to handle rejection while building meaningful client relationships. The Sales Representative will play a critical role in growing our client base by reaching out to potential clients, scheduling sales calls, and promoting our high-quality lighting services. You will use various communication methods, including email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms, to ensure connections are established. A CRM system will be used to document all interactions. Key Responsibilities: Client Outreach: Reach out to interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors provided by the company using email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and social media. Client Identification: Research and identify the correct point of contact within each potential client organization. Follow-Up: Execute multiple follow-ups with potential clients across different communication channels until a connection is established. CRM Management: Accurately log all interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes in the company’s CRM system. Scheduling: Set up and coordinate sales calls or meetings with potential clients to present Uplight Group’s lighting services. Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally about Uplight Group’s offerings, tailoring your message to each potential client’s needs. Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications and Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Highly outgoing, persistent, and comfortable handling rejection. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Experience in sales, customer service, or client outreach is preferred. Familiarity with interior design, lighting, or related industries is a plus. Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage and track client interactions.
