About the Role: Work closely with the Client’s team (a leading Investment Bank in the USA) to update and maintain databases and research reports regarding the US Equity Market. We are looking for a highly motivated and methodical individual with strong Excel skills, capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines. The ideal candidate would preferably have some experience in the equity market and a very good command of English. Job Duties: Collaborate with senior research analysts to update and maintain databases (mainly Excel spreadsheets). Update periodic research reports. Read and understand industry specifics, focus on idea generation, and assess the viability of expansion projects and/or M&A activities using valuation techniques (DCF analysis) to recommend credit alternatives. Prepare materials to assist the team in meetings with prospective companies, such as company profiles and key personnel information. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. Advanced degrees and certifications such as CFA and Masters in Finance/MBA are preferred. Skills required: Strong Excel skills, excellent English proficiency, and a good understanding of finance and equity markets. At least 2 years of experience with a good grasp of macroeconomic and fundamental concepts. Knowledge of basic econometrics/statistics. Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to generate ideas and add value at the sector or financial analysis level. Experience with Bloomberg, SNL is preferable.
