We're seeking an experienced Automated Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. You'll collaborate closely with product and development teams, contributing to the delivery of superior software through comprehensive testing and automation. As an Automated Test Engineer, you will: - Analyze API requirements and create detailed test cases. - Verify API functionality using tools like Postman, reporting and tracking bugs. - Ensure seamless integration between API changes and the product UI. - Develop and execute automated end-to-end tests covering API and UI interactions. - Perform manual regression testing (email, QR-code, mobile app) as needed. - Query databases for data validation. - Review automated test results and kick off tests on demand. - Utilize tools like Datadog, Rollbar, and Chrome DevTools for troubleshooting. - Contribute to test documentation (Test Plans, How-To guides). - Identify process improvements and enhance product testability. - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure API meets internal user needs. Basic Qualifications: - BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. - 5+ years of experience testing commercial web-based products. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English B2/C1 required). - Familiarity with bug and test tracking systems. - Strong understanding of automated testing methodologies and tools (front-end & back-end). - Experience with object-oriented programming (TypeScript, Java, etc.). - Understanding of REST protocol and API testing tools (Postman). - Proficiency in basic SQL queries. - Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS). - A passion for learning new technologies and a self-starter attitude. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience designing and implementing automated test solutions from scratch. - Experience writing automated API tests. - Experience with automation technologies (Selenium, Playwright). - Experience in the automotive sales industry.
