DESCRIPTION: Would you like to be part of a teamfocused on building adoption of Amazon Web Services withprospective customers? Do you have the business savvy and thetechnical background necessary to help establish Amazon WebServices partners develop new sales opportunities? This teamsupports sales and focuses on customers and prospects of all typesin Latin America. As a Demand Generation Representative (DGR), youwill have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth, shapethe future of a group of cloud technologies, and help prospects andcustomers make the transformational move into AWS. To support youroutbound selling efforts, we will use multi-modal, targetedcampaigns to help you identify new customer sales opportunities. Once engaged with a customer or prospect, you will successfullyunderstand customer business issues by using excellent listeningand communication skills, demonstrate how these issues can besolved and the unique benefits of solving them with AWS services. AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible fordriving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastestgrowing small - and mid-market accounts to enterprise-levelcustomers including public sector. The AWS Global Support teaminteracts with leading companies and believes that world-classsupport is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partnerswith a global list of customers that are building mission-criticalapplications on top of AWS services. Key job responsibilities Youwill work in a high-volume environment, achieve activity-basedmetrics and establish credibility with decision makers. You willuse intelligent prospecting persistence to identify, create andqualify opportunities; then work with sales to ensure theopportunity is understood and next steps are clearly defined. Oncequalified, you will use an opportunity management process to ensurethat opportunities are handed off to appropriate sales resources ina timely, customer-friendly manner.
