What We Offer Boston Consulting Group is looking for a seasoned Product Owner to lead the Finance and Procurement Product Portfolio. This role plays a critical part in shaping the organization's financial systems, ensuring they are efficient, responsible, and compliant with complex fiscal requirements. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, with a passion for finance and strong Agile principles. They will be able to work closely with stakeholders to drive business results, translate business priorities into product roadmaps, and prioritize enhancements using a data-driven approach. A successful Product Owner in this role will be able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, leveraging their expertise in finance, accounting, and SAP to deliver business value at scale. They will also be expected to model Agile behaviors, foster a squad culture based on BCG's values, and provide feedback within the performance management system. Key Responsibilities - Deliver Business Results - Ensure products are built incrementally, releasing new working features at the end of each sprint and creating value for customers - Track product performance to inform future work - Deliver on specific and measurable KPIs defined by the squad - Serve as Voice of Internal Client - Support and enable the squad to get its work done - Engage with the squad regularly to offer feedback on work-in-progress and clarify requirements - Provide feedback as part of performance management of squad members and other portfolio members - Enable Organization's Way of Working - Create and maintain a squad culture based on BCG's values and Agile behaviors - Model behaviors to support the organization's adoption of new ways of working, including AI-enhanced productivity Requirements - Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner - Passion for finance with a master's degree in finance or accounting, and a professional accounting designation preferred (e.g., CPA) - 8 years' relevant experience in a global accounting organization - Understanding of Agile principles and ways of working - Divergent thinker who can converge ideas into tangible products - Exceptional communications and stakeholder management skills
