Job Title: Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular book closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Record and manage fixed assets, creating and implementing efficient systems of procedures, forms, and controls. - Validate and document newly acquired fixed assets and disposals in the accounting system. - Track, compile, and record project costs at the completion of projects to respective fixed asset accounts/categories. - Calculate depreciation for all fixed assets, updating schedules accordingly. - Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for operational transactions. - Generate and distribute financial reports on a regular basis. - Analyze asset cost, accumulated depreciation, and depreciation expense for period-to-period fluctuations. - Provide critical accounting information to stakeholders as needed. - Assist cross-functional departments with accounting queries and issues. - Support auditors in conducting internal and external audits. - Review financial reports to identify and explain variances. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 5 years experience in Finance or Accounting and 3 years experience in Fixed Assets. - Knowledge in accounting processes such as AP, AR, Fixed Asset, Intercompany, Account Reconciliations, and General Ledger. - The candidate must be self-motivated with attention to detail. - A good Team player with ability to collaborate with other teams within the organization. - Graduate of B.S. Accountancy is preferred. - Strong analytical skills. - Ability to work flexible hours and extended hours during month-end.
