About Jacinth-Ambrosia Jacinth-Ambrosia is located 270 kilometres north of the Port of Thevenard, near Ceduna. It is the world’s largest source of zircon, and a Tier 1 deposit with extensive reserves. It is the first mining development in a mixed-use regional reserve - the Yellabina Regional Reserve - in South Australia, with the operation demonstrating a commitment to high environmental standards and progressive land rehabilitation. Jacinth-Ambrosia site has a fully equipped modern camp with facilities including a gym, pool, sports courts, recreation rooms, Wi-Fi and Foxtel. About the role As the Learning & Development Officer at Jacinth-Ambrosia, you will play a critical role in developing the capability of our operational and technical workforce as well as contributing to health and safety outcomes for the site. Jacinth-Ambrosia mine is located in South Australia, approximately 280 kilometres North-West of Ceduna by road. This is a site-based permanent Fly-in, Fly out (FIFO) role comprising an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, with travel from either Adelaide or Ceduna provided. Role responsibilities will include the following: - Liaising with site stakeholders to identify, plan, coordinate and deliver specific learning needs across site- Utilising systems and data to conduct learning needs analyses in order to meet competency and compliance requirements- Coordinating and scheduling external vendors for delivery of on and off-site course delivery and assessment- Designing and/or reviewing L&D; initiatives and training materials, including presentations, session plans, learner guides, assessments and any procedures that support the creation/amendment of this material- - Coordinating and delivering inductions for new employees and contractors visiting the site, including set up of online inductions prior to site arrival- Ensuring course policy documentation, assessments and schedules are available and maintained in the LMS (Workday Learning)- Supporting Operators and Maintenance Technicians on site to achieve learning outcomes associated with progression through training frameworks and monitoring the status of this progression Travel to other operational sites and corporate offices may be required to deliver specialised training or support centralised Capability Team initiatives. About you To be successful for this role, you will have- Learning and development experience in a mining or industrial environment- TAE40116 or TAE40120 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness and capacity to attain the qualifications)- Proven communication skills, written and oral, with a range of audiences across many levels of the business- Excellent coordination and scheduling skills- Highly developed computer skills including the MS Office suite (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word) and an understanding of learning management systems- Proven ability to collaborate with a range of teams to achieve best practice L&D; outcomes- Demonstrated experience in delivering a range of operational courses, such as isolations, permit issuing, hot work awareness, dust awareness, fire extinguisher Our offer to you- Be supported through an inclusive and collaborative culture- Up to 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave- Ability to Purchase Additional Annual Leave- Competitive Salary and Bonus Structures- Company share matching scheme You will be supported, empowered, included and encouraged to be the best version of yourself.
